GUARANTEES

 

This policy sets forth the warranty terms applicable to prefabricated products supplied by Lumidome (hereinafter the “Seller”) in connection with the sale of geodesic dome-style tiny homes. It applies exclusively to components manufactured by the Seller and does not cover work performed by third parties or the installation of the product at the customer’s site.​

 

Structural Components: Structural components manufactured by the Seller are warranted against any defects in workmanship or materials for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery. This warranty applies exclusively to structures assembled and installed in strict compliance with our technical drawings, assembly guides, and applicable building codes. Since long-term durability depends directly on the quality of the assembly and the foundation, strict adherence to our installation instructions is an essential condition for this warranty to remain valid.

 

Accessories and Supplied Components: All equipment included in the delivery (doors, windows, connectors, insulation) is covered by a 12-month warranty, unless otherwise specified in the component manufacturer’s documentation.

 

The warranty automatically expires at the end of the specified period, unless there are legal provisions more favorable to the Buyer.

 

The warranty does not cover:

Defects, damage, or workmanship issues resulting from installation performed by a third party (installer or a customer performing the installation themselves).

 

Modifications, adjustments, or repairs made without the Seller’s written consent.

 

Normal wear and tear, exposure to the elements, natural disasters, or acts of God.

 

Damage caused by improper transport or storage after delivery.

 

Any issue resulting from a defect in design, engineering, or compliance with local standards imposed by the municipality, including the calculation of structural loads.

 

The exterior coating applied by another company.

 

​The base polyurea exterior coating is warranted by the product manufacturer, subject to compliance with the application and maintenance conditions recommended by the supplier. It is imperative that the Buyer or installer follow these instructions—particularly in the case of a self-build project—for the coating warranty to be valid.

 

To be eligible for the warranty, the Buyer must:

 

Notify the Seller in writing within 2 days of discovering the defect.

 

Provide a detailed description of the problem, including photos or technical reports if available.

 

Keep the components in their original condition, without disassembling or modifying them, until inspected by the Seller.​
